Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1996.

The gate in the upper part indicates that the village is the 'gate to the Médoc' region. The base shows a book and feather pen, symbolising the writers from the village.

The tricoloured bend symbolises the forests (green), the scenic route through the vineyards (Route du vin, gold) and the red grapes (purple). The red colour is the colour of Aquitaine.
