In Gold auf gewölbtem grünem Boden der silbern nimbierte hl. Laurentius mit blauem Ober- und Untergewand, mit der Rechten einen aufrecht stehenden schwarzen Rost, in der Linken ein rotes Buch haltend.

Origin/meaning

Leutesdorf received city rights from the Archbishop of Trier in 1332. The oldest known seal of the city dates from the 15^th century and already shows St. Lawrence, the patron saint of the city. Even though the colours have changed during the centuries, the arms itself never changed.
