Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were designed for Limbach in 1884 (see there), and symbolises the textile industry (wheel and needle) and trade (staff of Mercury). After the merger with Oberfrohna in 1950, the arms were continued, but with the elements in a different composition (above right).
