Official blason

I silver en stolpvis ställd blå ström, åtföljd på var sida av ett kopparmärke ovanför en låga, samtliga röda.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 12, 1951.

The arms are based on the seal of the Nya Kopperberg hundred, known since 1640. The arms show the many local rivers and symbols for the copper mining and melting ovens (flames).
