Origin/meaning

The arms show the situation of Llavorsí, at the confluence of the rivers Noguera Pallaresa and Noguera de Vallferrera. The door above means that the town is the access to the high valleys of the Pallars Sobirà, in the Pyrenees: Àneu, Cardós, Ferrera and Coma de Burg.
