Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on October 24, 2002.

The first quarter shows the arms of Savoy, the second the arms of the medieval Lords of Faucingy to which the village belonged. The lower half shows the arms of their descendents, the De Faucigny-Lucinges family.
