Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on May 3, 1960.

The town has adopted the arms of the Guyot-Malseigne de Maiche family, Lords of Miche, to which were added a gearwheel to symbolise the watch industry and a horseshoe for the 'Maîche' horse (a special breed).
