Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: A square shaped embroidered device tipped up on its end with a wolverine couped at his back side by the upper scroll, turned left snarling and running in a hunting demeanor, his right paw flexed backwards and his left paw over the “L” in the lower scroll. Inscribed above, in green letter 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height “MANSFIELD,” and below in green letters, 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height “WOLVERINES,” all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border. The overall dimension is 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm).
Origin/meaning
Forest green and white are the school’s colors. The Wolverine is the school’s mascot. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 9 November 2006.
