Origin/meaning

The colors of the shield field symbolize the gunpowder and fire so inherent to the Artillery. The beam, the missile and the bat represent the detection link and combat capabilities of the Anti-Aircraft Unit. The tower recalls the origins of this Unit in Villanubla (Valladolid) where it remained for 57 years. The Coat of Arms was approved on 24 May 2012.
