The image of the arms holding a hook and coming from a cloud was taken from the 18th century seal of the village. On the seal there was also a building, which was removed in the arms. The image is taken from Revelations 21, 9-17 where the city of Jerusalem is measured by an angel. The meaning for the village is unknown.
