NEUKIRCHEN VORM WALD

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Passau

Neukirchen.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 10, 1987.

The tower symbolises the local St. Martin's church. The rose is taken from the arms of the Mautner von Katzenberg family, the left half is taken from the Taufkirchen family. Both played a major role in the local history. The blue and silver behind the church are the colours of Bayern.
