Heraldry of the World Civic heraldry of Germany - Deutsche Wappen (Gemeindewappen/Kreiswappen) |
OBERHAUGSTETT
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Calw
Incorporated into : 1975 Neubulach
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1926.
The arms show a plough iron and two plough knives. Both are symbols for the agricultural character of the village.
The colours are those of the Counts of Hohenberg, the oldest known lords of the village in the 14th century.
