Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on January 20, 2005.

The green bordure has a canting symbolism as the municipality's name can be translated as "game reserve", a fenced off greenland area for holding hunting game. The three golden stripes in the blue field represnet the Griespek of Greispach family which held the municipality before the Battle of White Mountain in 1620, after which their property was confiscated. The upright flaming sword is the attribute of Archangel Michael, the patron of the local church. The arms of the municipalites of Kačerov or Kralovice also reference the Griespek arms.
