Ockelbo kommunvapen

Official blason

Sköld genom granskura kluven i silver, vari tre stolpvis ställda gröna ringar, och grönt, vari en stolpvis ställd smideshammare i silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1985.

The arms refer to the large forests of the region and the two former municipalities that were joined. The three rings refer to the three parishes in the municipality and the hammer refers to the iron works.
