Escut caironat: d'atzur, un castell d'or obert acostat d'una espasa flamejada d'argent guarnida d'or a la destra i d'una balança d'or a la sinistra. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the castle of Olèrdola, built in 929 by Sunyer I, count of Barcelona. The flaming sword and the scales are the attributes of St. Michael, the local patron saint. The arms have been officially granted on 11th November 1992.
