Escudo de vermelho, oliveira arrancada de sua cor, entre duas cruzes páteas de ouro. Coroa mural de três torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: " OLAIA ".

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 8, 1995.

The arms show an olive tree as the village is well known for its olive oil production. The two crosses refer to the Templars and the long history of the municipality.
