Unter rotweiss geschachtem Schildhaupt in Grün weisse Rose.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on March 16, 1953.

The chief is derived from the chequered bend of the Cistercian Order. The village belonged to the former Cistercian Convent Olsberg, known as the Garden of God. The name is symbolised by the rose in the lower part of the arms.
