Official blazon

I fält av guld ett rött ospänt armborst och därunder ett likaledes rött treberg, belagt med ett svävande kors av guld med avrundade armar, bildat av ett andreaskors fästat på mitten av en stolpvis ställd längre stapel.

Origin/meaning

The Triplemount alludes to the name Högby meaning the Fram near the hill. The Rune sign indicate the Rune Stone where the name Högby is mentioned for the first time. The Crossbow alludes to the Peasant Forces of Nils Dacke who did battle with the Forces of King Gustaf Vasa in the Parish in 1543. The Colours are from the City of Mjölby, which the Parish formed part 1952-1970. Designed by Per Andersson and assumed 27 February 1995. Since 2006 Högby is part of the Parish of Mjölby.
