German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

PATERSBERG

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Rhein-Lahn Kreis (until 1969 Loreleykreis)
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Loreley

Arms of Patersberg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 22, 1984.

The only known seal of the village dates from the late 18th century and shows the barred lion of the counts of Hessen and the letters GPB (for Gericht Patersberg, Patersberg Court). In the arms the letters are replaced by a rooster.

The arms below were proposed in 1956, but never adopted. In the proposal these elements were combined, with only the letter P for the village.
