Van zilver met een zwijnskop van sabel, met slagtanden van zilver - het schild getopt met een helm van zilver, getralied, gehalsband en omboord van goud, gevoerd van keel met wrong en dekkleden van zilver en van sabel. Helmteken: een vlucht alternatief doorsneden van zilver en sabel.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 27, 1956.

The arms are those of the last Lords of Peutie, the Baudequin family, who acquired the estate in 1643 and were promoted to barons in 1766. The arms were also used on the seal of the council in the late 18th century.
