ARMS OF POLISH PROVINCES AND DISTRICTS (incl. historical provinces)

Poland is presently divided into 16 provinces or voivodeships (Polish : województwo). This division was created in 1999. From 1975-1999 there were 49 provinces, from 1945-1975 16 to 22, and from 1921-1945 there were 16.

All present provinces use arms. Whenever the name of the province is the same, arms of previous provinces are listed under the present name. Other historical provinces are listed separately when they used arms.
