Wappen von Rastorf/Arms (crest) of Rastorf
Official blazon
German

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 27, 2005.

The arms is divided in silver and red, this division is taken from the arms of the Counts of Rantzau, to whom the village historically belonged. The colours are also the colours of Holstein.

The three rapeseed flowers indicate the agricultural character of the municipality, and, at the same time refer to the three villages Rosenfeld, Rastorfer Passau and Wildenhorst. The background division is based on the gable of the Rastorf Estate. The bridge is the local bridge over the Schwentine.
