Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 11, 1964.

The bend refers to the Reisbach river, but is also taken from the arms of the former lords of the village, the Von Lisdorf family. The circle refers to the Fraulautern Convent to which the village Labach belonged, and the cross to the Lords of Bolchen, to whom the village of Reisweiler historically belonged.
