an eight-pointed diamond cut star; upon the star a raised circle surmounted by the Crown; whitin the raised circle, the block letters VRI, the imperial Cypher of Queen Victoria / Un étoile à huit branches, taillée en diamant, et surmontée d'un cercle en relief où repose la couronne; à l'interiéur du crecle sont inscrites les majuscules "VRI", monogramme impérial de la Reine Victoria.
