Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on December 28, 2017.

The eagle is the eagle of Brandenburg; the wavy bar symbolises the Oder river.

The arms replaced arms used from 2000-2018:

Arms of Słubice (county)

In these arms the eagle is the Polish eagle, indicating that the area was Polish until the middle of the 13th century and after 1945. The other half shows the Oder river in a golden field. The gold was taken from the Górzyca coat of arms, the former seat of the bishops of Lubusz
