Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a white oval shaped device 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in height and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) purple border a purple dragon with wings displayed. Arcing above the dragon the inscription “SACRAMENTO” in purple letters.

Origin/meaning

Purple and white are the school colors. The dragon is the school mascot and is a symbol of strength and courage. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 4 June 2001.
