Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on November 29, 1997.

The sea gull refers to the fact that the municipality is on the Atlantic coast. The sword in the point is a reference to St.Martin of Tours, cutting his cloak for a beggar. The lion and alerion are taken from the arms of former lords of the village, the lion from the De Calletot family, the alerion from the Counts of Montmorency.
