D'argent à la motte [coupeau] de sinople sommée d'une tour de sable, ajourée du champ; chapé de sinople chargé d'une gerbe d'or à dextre et d'un cep de vigne arraché du même à senestre.

Origin/meaning

The arms refer to the local castle, which is situated on a hill (motte). The garb refers to agriculture and the grape to viticulture and the local grape variety Gamay Saint-Romain.
