Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 22nd September 1989.

Canting arms: they show a "freixe" (Catalan for "ash tree"). Below there is a representation of a railroad, because the village was born at the beginning of the 20th century around the station of the railroad Barcelona-Lleida.
