Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 1st June 1983.

The palm with the two laurel wreaths is the attribute of the martyr St. Cyricus (or Quiricus), the local patron saint. The second partition shows the lozengy of the barons of Centelles, lords of the village.
