Selected collector's items from Germany:

SILZ

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südliche Weinstrasse
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Annweiler am Trifels

Wappen von Silz (Pfalz)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 29, 1962.

The salt crystal in the arms refers to the salty springs in the village and the old name of Sulz(feld). The village historically was under the jurisdiction of the Gossersweiler court. The small cross is taken from the seal of this court (see Gossersweiler )

The arrow is the attribute of the local patron saint, St. Sebastianus. The colours are those of the Pfalz.
