SINABELKIRCHEN
State : Steiermark
District : Weiz
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on 16 June, 1997.
The arms are canting. The name Sinabelkirchen takes up the old word "sinewel", round. The medieval church of St. Bartholomew has been altered since, but it was a round one once.
The blossoms represent apple trees, as Sinabelkirchen is in Eastern Styria where a favourable climate allows to grow apples for a living.
