Sköld delad av blått, vari en i den delande skuran nedgående sol av guld med strålarna nående sköldkanterna, och av blått, vari en bjälkvis ställd makrill av silver och därunder två i sparre ordnade räkor av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 7, 1962.
The arms show the position on the coast and the importance of fishing (mackerel, shrimps), whereas the sun refers to the climate and the importance of tourism.
