Arms of Sokołów Małopolski

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 7, 2007.

The oldest arms show only a falcon, a canting symbol as Sokol means falcon in Polish. In the 1990s the falcon was placed on a tree and many different variations existed. Only in 2007 the current design was officially approved and described.
