The Colours Green and gold symbolises the Battalion's association with armour. The embattled division recalls campaing participation in Europe during World War II. The Tank Wheel in base refers to the unit's mission as a Tank Division. The units' preivios designation as both an Administration adn Adjutant Genral Company is recalled by teh quill. The Lion passant further recalls European servie during World War II and is a symbol of courage and strength. Gold also denotes excellence. The Mural crown inidcates World War II service in the Rhineland. The Gauntlet and Sword symbolises unit forces attacking and vanquishing Nazism in World War II Germany. The Coat of Arms was approved 9 November 2007.
