Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1957. The arms show in the upper half an oak tree, a symbol for the local farming communiity. The seven acorns indicate that in 1957 the local council consisted of seven members. The base shows a stone age grave (monolith), which is meant as a canting element (Steinstett, stone=place).
