STRZELCE-DREZDENKO (Powiat strzelecko-drezdenecki)

Province: Lubusz

Arms of Strzelce-Drezdenko (county)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms are identical to the arms of the old district Landkreis Friedeberg in der Neumark designed in the 1930s. This district became after 1945 the current Polish county.

The silver fleur-de-lys is taken from the arms of the city of Strzelce Krajeńskie (then Fiedeberg in der Neumark), the rose is taken from the arms of Dobiegniew (then Woldenberg). The wavy bar refers to the rives in the area, especially the Noteć.
