Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a shield shaped embroidered device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border, blazoned as follows: Argent (Silver Gray), two bendlets of the like (White) bearing a Raven’s head couped Sable, eyed White and Silver Gray. Attached above the shield, a White scroll inscribed "SUSSEX TECH" in Black letters.

Origin/meaning

Silver and black are the school’s colors. The Raven is the school’s mascot. The Raven symbolizes the accomplishment, wisdom, dignity, and honor of the school’s students. The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved on 9 March 2006.
