Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on August 14, 2014.

The arms show the traditional symbol of the former Augustinian Order of the Cross with a red heart, which was abolished at the end of the 18th century, but lasted in Poland until 1832. They founded the oldest church in the municipality, in Libichowej in 1262.

Until 2014 the arms were divided, showing in the other half a wheatear as a symbol of agriculture.
