Official blazon

Punaisessa kentässä sinikielinen kultapukki pystyssä, sen kaulassa mustasta hihnasta riippuva kilpi, jonka mustassa kentässä paaluittainen kultapiilu.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 26, 1950.

The parish has been known for its goat farms, hence the goat. The shield with the ax symbolises that the parish's medieval stone church was consecrated to St. Olaf, whose attribute is an ax.
