Origin/meaning
The arms were designed and adopted in 1898.
The arms show the arms of the Lords von Baldingen within a bordure of Fürstenberg. The medieval castle of the Lords von Baldingen was in Unterbaldingen. Later the area became a possession of the Counts (later Princes) of Fürstenberg and came only in 1806 to Baden.
