Origin/meaning
The arms show an inverted chevron for the letter V, the initial of the municipality. The flaming heart is the symbol of the Augustine Order, and refers to the former priory in the area. The lower half shows the typical stone huts from the Dolaizon valley. The blue colour refers to the many streams in the municipality.
