Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1985.

The first half shows the arms of Bertrand de Livron, Lord of Vars and stable squire of Louis XI. The left half shows the vair of the Bauffremont family (Françoise Bauffremont was the wife of Bertrand de Livron).
