Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms combine elements from the arms of the three main historical rules in the area. The silver lion in black is taken from the arms of the Lords of Warsberg, the red lion is taken from the arms of the Counts of the Rhein and the point shows the arms of the Counts of Sponheim.

The bordure is typical for a Verbandsgemeinde.
