The arms are a combination of elements from the arms of the different villages. The crosier symbolises the possessions of the Diocese of Worms and the Hornbach and Disibodenberg Abbeys in the area. A crosier appears in the arms of Gries and Ohmbach.

The bucket ('Kübel') is a canting element of the Kübelberg local court in the area. The seal of the court showed three wooden buckets. They appear in the arms of Kübelberg and Schönenberg-Kübelberg.

The pale is taken from the arms of the Von der Leyen family, to which part of the area belonged. The pale is taken from the arms of Gries.

Cherry cultivation was of importance in a large part of the area and cherries are part of the arms of Dittweiler and Frohnhofen. Diamont cutting was also of importance and the diamond is taken from the arms of Brücken.


====Origin/meaning====
The green base refers to the nature in the area and the bordure is a typical element to indicate a Verbandsgemeinde.
