Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 15, 1949.

The three antlers are the oldest arms of the Counts of Veringen, the oldest known rulers of the area. The antlers were probably taken from the arms of the Counts of Württemberg, due to a marriage of a daghter of the Von Veringens with a ount of Württemberg-Grüningen.

The village did not use arms or seals until 1947 when the above arms were designed.
