The municipality does not have official arms.
Sometimes the municipality use(d) arms barred of ten pieces, silver and black. These are the arms of the Reinhardstein castle and estate, which is part of the municipality.
The 18th century seal of the village showed the local patron saint, St. Saturnin.
The arms of Waimes are sometimes seen with attributes of the saint behind the barred shield, see below.

Currently (April 2015) there is no indication on the municipal website (www.waimes.be) that the arms are actually used.
