Im Göpelschnitt geteilt von Silber, Gold und Rot; rechts oben ein springender roter Hund mit goldenem Halsband, links drei schwarze Zwillingsbalken, unten ein silbernes Malteserkreuz.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 12, 1994.

The arms are nearly identical to the arms of the Counts von Wangenheim. The additional point with the Maltese cross refers to Count Georg Christian Ernst Ludwig August von Wangenheim, who was a knight of the Order of St. John.
