In Blau ein goldener Ring mit Stein, darin ein silberner, blaubezungter und betraufter Brackenkopf auf Rot, der Ring begleitet rechts oben von einem auf liegender Mondsichel aufgestecktem Tatzenkreuz, links oben von einem goldenen Schragen, dessen linker Balken oben nach links zu einem Haken umgebogen ist.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1979 after the merger with the other municipalities.

The arms are a combination of the elements from the 4 older arms.

The previous arms were granted in 1951 on the 1000th anniversary of the village. The arms are based on the symbol on the two oldest seals, dating from 1623 and 1664. The symbol most likely is a ring, but its meaning is not known.
