Wappen von Wiesdorf/Arms (crest) of Wiesdorf
Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 10, 1923 and were based on the old seal of Wiesdorf, known since 1567.

The upper part of the arms shows the lion of Berg, the town was a longtime possession of the Counts of Berg. The lower part shows the ferry over the Rhine, which was of great importance in the trading in the area.
